Why settle for MS St and Syracuse, who’s leaving Alabama?

I’m a P5 caliber player at <insert P5 school’s name>, please make the case why I choose G5 USF…

I’ve got 1 potentially plausible scenario: USF overpays player who doesn’t have realistic expectations for the NFL.

Otherwise P5 transfers will almost certainly be reclamation projects.

Last I checked MsSt and Syracuse are both still P5 schools.

We wouldn't get the starters from those teams but most likely but 2nd and 3rd stringer that never really played for a reason.

Would Prefer getting in portal some FCS all conference players that have produced even if at FCS level...especially if they have great speed.

So thankful USF’s location is in TB. USF will always be able to bring in good transfers.

I like this approach vs getting p5 rejects from the portal.  Portal guys (there are exceptions) don’t live up to the hype.

At our level, we’re not getting free agents, for the most part, but pulling off the waiver wire and hoping.

Not all are rejects. If their coach just got fired it might be the opening USF needs to lure in some decent talent.

There is a db leaving Syracuse.

There are a lot of DB's routinely leaving Syracuse.   Just watch about any ESPN broadcast and it reflects that.

Yea… espn, other than an actual game, reminds me of squeaking chalk on a blackboard.
