Really shows how bad our defense is.

I still blame the offense. They are still averaging 3 turnovers a game and a crapload of 14 to 30 sec three and outs. They are not getting any type of break.

Today, the offense was horrid, the defense was horrid, special teams was horrid, and coaching was horrid.

Doesn’t make me wonder at all. I thought it was pretty much common sense that after the Jeff Scott experiment, we probably needed somebody with HC experience.

I’m not done with Golesh, but I think you know we’re going to be his training wheels again for a while. I’m just not sure this program can survive that.

I think you are spot on. The problem with all the conference realignment we cant afford it.

Completely put coached,  out schemed, out called , much better hame preparation, and out played. I want Golesh to succeed but Herman was 100% the better hire.  Dude just beat down usf with less talent but better coaching.  Today was embarrassing.  IF we lose next game Golesh may lose the team.

Just got home. Really great crowd today. We were ready to make some noise and party. Then they kicked it off . . . what to say?

That’s why experience matters. Not all the time.

You had a guy with two ny6 wins and won in the aac and we went with another inexperienced oc with zero hc experience and fired fau defensive coordinator expecting a different result. I hope Golesh can win next  game or the team may quit like.they did on the last first tike hc experiment. Golesh has the personality and work ethic it seems but his offense isn't working  anymore the tape is out. No creative plays, not enough motion or direction, and 100% predictable. Fau used a basic spread option with motion and misdirection to school the defense and the bulls.

I am confused why we seem to have the same sequence of plays week in and week out.  I've heard excuses about how the playcallers are covering for the talent we have, but give me a break.

I am seriously concerned about the defense though.  All the good will seems lost for now.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
