If you ask CAG he will tell you his only goal is to beat Navy this week. That's fine. 

We need to go 1-0 until we're 10-2. No team on this schedule is unbeatable. 

Frankly, Memphis should have beaten Navy by more but they turned it over a ton in the fourth quarter.

I am a beaten dog as well and while I am hopeful; I will not talk of winning or what we’ve won, haha. We definitely look good, but it’s a long season and a lot can happen.

Don't forget the not-a-moral-victory against Bama. It may have been an L, but I think holding them to 10 points and only losing by 7 (I don't like their last TD, so I'm not counting it. ), instead of losing 100 to 0, was a perception victory.

Then the Rice win obviously opened up a few minds to USF possibly being good this season. 

I say bring on the grandeur (minus the delusions).

If not for that bad 2nd half against Western Kentucky, USF has looked as good as any team vying for that NY6 spot...That first game really hurt us.

Probably the most exciting & anxiety I have had regarding USF football in at least 4 seasons lol. The last 3 seasons were easy to anticipate as I expected USF to find a ways to lose. Now we are excited about a chance to go 3-2. Love it!
