The little ESPN percentages are starting to turn in our favor for future games this season, but not Navy.  Anyway it's still close.  I don't think we are trusted yet.

Here is where they have been each week... it has definitely fluctuated.

Week 0: Navy 60.3% - USF 39.7%

Week 1: Navy 57.6% - USF 42.4%

Week 2: Navy 59.1% - USF 40.9%

Week 3: Navy 62.5% - USF 37.5%

Week 4: Navy 54.9% - USF 45.1%

Sometimes we jump the shark as fans, so I understand the skepticism. I think coach is trying to create consistency and keep this group leveling up. We are creeping towards our potential. I think it will be exciting to see how high we can climb. If we keep meeting these challenges the skeptics will turn in our favor.

Need to be able to pass on them then hit the run game. Our defense will be one the best they have seen. They kill clock possession. So must really be ready for them to go for it 4 th and short  and get stop on downs. Kill their identity.

Memphis has a pretty good defense possibly ranked in 30s.

Our secondary has to watch for passing they will do it and we can't let them get cheap yards thru air. Make them earn it on ground.

We should shut the middle down and push them to run side to side.

The difference between good teams and bad teams is generally consistency. Our defense has showed up strong for 2 games and our offense has had 2 good games as well. That means we are inconsistent…… now, we have shown good improvement, I believe that we can/will go 6-6 or 7-5 this year, but, we should not be favorites until we show we can play somewhat consistent. We are in our way, but will probably underdogs for a bit yet.

We will win this game. No one has run up the middle on us this season consistently. They will be forced outside and our LB’s and DB’s will eat them up. Looking for a 3 touchdown win

Nobody uses cut blocks like Navy though.

NCAA rule changes curtailing cut blocking and a new coach have led Navy to modify its attack plans somewhat.  Think moving away from submarines and adding some aerial assaults.
