It felt like previous USF programs in the 2000-2010 era. 1

At least 4 times we had him sacked and he fought his way out of it, Give him credit and Christians damm brother burned the hell out of us. slowdown Posted September 24, 2023 Group: Member Topic Count: 5 Content Count: 993 Reputation: 121 Days Won: 0 Joined: 06/05/2007 Share Posted September 24, 2023 Daniels and McCaffery are two very good players. We are gonna see a few more good passings offenses. I think FAMU illustrated it's a true vulnerability. Just gotta get better and we will probably live by the big play on defense in our biggest games. Turnovers and TFL's to get them off schedule and get off the field on third down. They are just playing so much harder and smarter than the last few years despite some misses

It's not the yards but the points that matter. BB also had his personal best day with almost the same amount of yards but scored twice as many points, 42-21. They had a couple of wide open splash plays but also had plays where the receiver was pretty well covered but they made great plays. Bend but don't break ..... Our run defense is quite good and will really get a test this week. Last years defense give up easily 40+ points vs Rice last year I bet.

My thoughts exactly on the yards vs points Credit there also goes to special teams for covering kicks and not giving Rice a short field (something we have not seen in a few years)
