No attempt to sugar coat it. No attempt at "moral victories." Genuine upset at losing. Isn't that what you guys want in a coach? absolutely. I want someone that looks like their dog just died. I want someone who is hurt and pissed.

When he was coming out with the team he looked up at the USF crowd to take in the moment and saw how excited the fans were and gave a wave to us. And we were loud during the game. He probably wanted that statement win out of the gate. 1

Finally took the time to watch and I'm incredibly impressed at his dejected demeanor. That poor paper in front of him was getting worked lmao. While I was not happy with some decisions on play calling yesterday, I can't help but tip my hat at someone willing to take ownership and be hard on themselves when failure happens. Didn't hear any of that fake ass proGRUM trash and cop outs about how fantastic the day was. Not the progress we all wanted but sometimes you gotta get kicked in the mouth to catalyze improvement. His head is in the right place and self awareness seems to be there. Time will tell if he's the guy.

I believe if the players continue to buy in, they will have this turned around in no time. 2

We showed up better than I expected.

I was upset after the game, but after calming down I feel better about things. Losing sucks, but I can actually see improvements.
