The best post-loss press conference at USF since at least Taggart if not going back to Leavitt.  No attempt to sugar coat it.  No attempt at "moral victories."  Genuine upset at losing.

Isn't that what you guys want in a coach?

absolutely. I want someone that looks like their dog just died. I want someone who is hurt and pissed.

This coach and team will correct this.

I think he really wanted that win.  When he was coming out with the team he looked up at the USF crowd to take in the moment and saw how excited the fans were and gave a wave to us. And we were loud during the game. He probably wanted that statement win out of the gate.

Wow exactly. I will shut my mouth for the time being on this subject.

Finally took the time to watch and I'm incredibly impressed at his dejected demeanor. That poor paper in front of him was getting worked lmao.

While I was not happy with some decisions on play calling yesterday, I can't help but tip my hat at someone willing to take ownership and be hard on themselves when failure happens.

Didn't hear any of that fake ass proGRUM trash and cop outs about how fantastic the day was.

Not the progress we all wanted but sometimes you gotta get kicked in the mouth to catalyze improvement. His head is in the right place and self awareness seems to be there. Time will tell if he's the guy.

Not sure how anyone could find fault in that presser.

I can honestly say that he won't fail here due to lack of passion or commitment to the program. I believe if the players continue to buy in, they will have this turned around in no time.

Don’t want to bother listening but does he acknowledge the crowd? We showed up better than I expected.

I'm sure he noticed.

He definitely seems like a hard worker and gives 100%. I was upset after the game, but after calming down I feel better about things. Losing sucks, but I can actually see improvements.
