I don’t think anybody standing and cheer was doing so so that they would be heard or seen by others. It is about making noise to disrupt what is going on when the other team has the ball especially when they are right by us.

several people commented how laid-back this away crowd was. No judgment they were there supporting the team, but we have definitely had way better away crowds from a cheering standpoint.

As I said, some people don't have to stand to make equally enough noise to disrupt what is going on when the other team has the ball especially when they are right by us. Standing up is not a prerequisite to being loud.

You bring up something interesting when you mentioned the pocket being small. I'm not all that knowledgeable so I'm curious. It seemed to me that on many pass plays the QB didn't drop back and just stayed where he took the snap. Was I imagining that? Is that a normal thing? Something new to this offense?

I watched the highlights from last year with Tennessee. It seems to be the o-line is not holding their blocks long enough and the pocket is collapsing/shrinking early. I did notice some similarities of the WKU game . We have a  lot of work to do and hopefully we see this offense step up like  the defense. The defense played pretty good to let up 41 points but really it was 34 because of the last td. They were a few broken plays away from having a great day.

Funny you bring that up cause I thought the very same thing...thought it was odd.  We need to do that way less if that's how that's drawn up cause oline isn't nearly good enough for that now.

Either that or it is a one read offense? Just get the snap and let it go?

True BUT standing up and being loud at the same time is fun.  :iconic_u_black:

I personally liked the presser. what did you expect him to be pumped up and excited, they just lost and  I for one don’t expect him to be happy when that happens.  I Expect him to be pissed. He said right away we have already moved on to this week

the real test will be how they bounce back.

he took responsibility and praised the players.

by the way, has anybody ever watched a news conference after Bill Belichick loses. Not pretty

I stood up to yell, but it was at a kid that knocked over my beer.

If the people in front of, or behind me stand, I'll stand. If not I'm ok simply being loud.
