I never said "our fans" hate UF more than UCF, but in that thread there were people that said that.

Let me clarify something. As much as I root for USF, I still feel like an outsider b/c I have no ties to Tampa or the school besides friends who attended and a few road trips. I am a UF alumn and rooted for them at one point in my life. So from the outside looking in, there is just bad blood and energy at a level with USF vs UCF that I have never seen before. Trust me I've seen violence come from Tennesee fans visiting Gainesville, UF FB players getting in a fistfight on bourbon street with UM players, and harassment from FSU fans. Those are intense rivalries. But USF and UCF.....WOW!!!! is all I have to say. I am not making fun of anybody that doesn't want to play the game or consider UCF a rival. But honestly, I have never seen such a high level of "dislike" and competitiveness b/w 2 schools in my life.

As stated, that was fomenting, mostly on one side, for years.  It's really taken off.  It is what it is.

I preferred the experience at the Swamp where they didn't know who we were but I was high stepping around after INTs, LFGing, and making dads with Gator visors confused that Little Johnny might actually witness a loss.
