So the USF defense goes from ASLEEP to A SLEEPER in one season?

I do believe it is all about coaching. We have the DC that stopped USF’s Voodoo 5 goal line play. Think we will now probably go 6-6 or better

Not buying it. I haven't seen a guy that can tackle in at least half a decade and we haven't had a decent DL since idk when.

Since the days of Leavitt. However I remember UConn’s defense being very tough and they usually won games on defense because their offense sucked. I am feeling a lot better now if USF’s defense ends up tough like UConn’s from 2005

Skip and Jeff both made the mistake of hiring old NFL DCs. Tacticians instead of junkyard dogs.

I think we will see the defense get smoked in that 1st game against WKU. But USF fans should not put too much stock into it. WKU usually does that to defenses. What I do believe we will start seeing is the defense improving as the season moves along. Yeah Bama & UTSA will probably light up the scoreboard but I’m focusing more on the Navy game. If the defense does good I like USF’s chances

If they have hot dogs, it will help to tolerate.

Same here. If they trot him out there, forget about it.

Hell yeah!  I will probably stock up on Portillo’s before the game
