Was impressed with the way he used “we” continuously.

We need him around our program more for sure

He's definitely USF adjacent.  He currently is the EVP for Corporate & Community Development for the Vinik Sports Group, who operates the Yuengling Center, as well as the Lightning and Amalie Arena.

Pretty sure his daughter committed to one of our sports teams as well, can't remember if it was softball or volleyball

DB #55 Double Nickel

2nd best player in NFL history ever.

#1 Earl Campbell.

Jim Brown in his own class....

2nd best player in history? C'mon man. Brooks was a hell of a player and hands down a Hall of Famer, but 2nd best player in NFL History. Give me a break. He might be the 2nd best player in Bucs History. Honestly you may have made the most ridiculous comment in www.thebullspen.com history, and that is saying something.

We should have hired him for AD, he has panache and that’s one more thing than we got.

when the 2 most recent hires fail. (hope I am wrong) We should seriously consider him. Last time we hired a Bucs Legend it worked out very well for us.

Softball - I sort of chuckled at the thread name, because he was on the committee that hired a president for USF (can't remember which of the last 2). And he will probably be at most of the softball games for the next 4 years. So, him being on campus is going to be pretty regular.

This. I believe this was not coincidence. He was very close to being our AD, he told me himself. I feel like if we get the state BOG stadium approval vote, I could see this as a good clean break opportunity for MK and DB slide in.

Loved DB as a Nole and Buc but not sure I'd be that comfortable with him going from zero experience in college athletics administration (I think) straight to AD ......

Don’t know if he is the 2nd or 3rd or 10th, but he was/is amazing.  14 years, 224 consecutive games and never missed a single one.  How tough do you have to be?  GD Superman…

I don’t think MK will be satisfied until he gets USF to one of the power conferences and preferably ACC.
