I don’t think MK will be satisfied until he gets USF to one of the power conferences and preferably ACC.

At this rate, he should be satisfied to have a job.

If you strictly measure the AD’s success based on on-the-field results in the 2 major sports, that’s pretty much a no brainer …

Why does he still have a job is an even better question? Football is at the bottom of FBS Football, Basketball is failing , and baseball is failing? Besides fundraising for the IPF and OCS, why is he employeed?

The facility improvements are nice and long overdue. That being said Basketball has had good facilities for a while now and the program is in the ******. We have fallen further behind in conference affiliation. The current AAC might just be the worst conference we have ever been a part of. I would argue those CUSA USF teams had a better overall conference.

If you’re inclined to have to blame someone for where we are currently conference wise, the case against him is not very compelling.

I mean, that and despite the lack of success in the big 3, we still were #81 overall in the Director's Cup standings.

he is a minor part of it, at the time the latest invites were given out we had a football team on life support and a MBB team that was barely any better.

He is the most to blame. No. That would be Judy.

AD's usually are there to increasing winning, increase local community and fan support, and bringing in more funds to the athletic department. Look at  the former AD at ucif did and now at Tennessee. We got the complete opposite impact on the field success and the answer lies in why are we okaying with AD MK having USF fall to the bottom FBs football under his watch? Since he has taken over football has gotten drastically worse. There has to be  a correlation to AD MK to have MBB, baseball, and football all suck under his leadership.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
