The ROI last time was a hyped up team over the offseason and then falling flat on our face the next season

After losing the conference freshman of the year to injury right before the season started, with his probable backup transferred out ..... and falling flat on their face may be a bit of hyperbole. They were only a game off in the conference record, 8-10 to 7-11.

I’m with others on here. No way we pay money to play more fruitless basketball. Save that darn money for say, maybe,  a free throw coach.

TBH if Yetna hadn't gone down, everything probably looks way different. That said, all we heard about all offseason was how all of these teams that won the CBI went on to ____ success the next year, and we're bringing the band back for one more run. Finishing 13-17 and having the conference tourney canceled (COVID) right after a Rideau buzzer beater over SMU ... it left a bad taste. There was so much more potential there.

If everyone were coming back, I might pay the $50,000.

Guys, the $50,000 is nothing in the bigger picture. (I don't know if it triggers any coaching bonuses). Our schedule is full of non-conference games where we pay around $50,000 to have a game.

Every time we play there are costs.

If we get 3 or 4 games for our $50,000 than that is actually a good deal.

Have to agree with this. It's worth it if only for a couple extra weeks of practice and connection among the players and coaches.

GO BULLS!

GO BULLS!

And more games to watch Harris and Bryant a final time. It’s a no brainer.  Most of the ones whining about not going to the CBI are ones who don’t/can’t go to games now.
