That said, all we heard about all offseason was how all of these teams that won the CBI went on to ____ success the next year, and we're bringing the band back for one more run. Finishing 13-17 and having the conference tourney canceled (COVID) right after a Rideau buzzer beater over SMU ... it left a bad taste. There was so much more potential there. (I don't know if it triggers any coaching bonuses). Our schedule is full of non-conference games where we pay around $50,000 to have a game. Every time we play there are costs.
