I understand NCSU's position. Let's be honest, when it comes to G5 schools, there's no telling where they've been or what one could catch.

I think there will be a point in the near future where we will see less and less Power 5 teams scheduling group of 5 schools. I see the major conferences adding extra in conference games instead. That's why we need out of the AAC as soon as we can.

Or it will be more along the lines of what is allegedly happening here. P5s will be less and less willing to schedule road games at G5s and it will end up being we go to their house for a buy game or don't play them at all.

I hope the G5 schools listen to this loud and clear. Road games at Power schools should new cost 2.5 million per game. 

 

Fun trivia time, USF has only once bought a FBS money game (where the contract never called for a return game, not talking about someone like Bowling Green who we played in Tampa then canceled the return) . 

And, yes, FBS at the time, not a Liberty who when we last bought a game from them in Tampa they were FCS.

It is not for certain. Contract is signed, if Miami can't afford the buy out then the games will be played.

They are testing us to see if we really are going to build a stadium and invest in our program.  If not, they have their answer and will cancel.
