If all of our coaches could be pissed at their team and semi-huff out of the post-game presser after a win with their squad at 15-4, 4-0? It’s a different set if expectations #LegendaryJose 2

Right now wins in certain other sports just create relief ….

I don't watch the bench often while the game is going on but last night I looked over after many turnovers and lost rebound battles. Not happy at all. I know from attending some practices over the years that live ball turnovers make him especially mad. Gives the other team a chance to run out. This team has a chance to be great, but they have to eliminate the mental lapses and the bad quarter they seem to run into almost every game. It really is a shame that they couldn't close out one of their 3 close losses against rank squads. There is no doubt that this is a top 25 team and yet they still aren't ranked. Also, you want to talk about coaching, CJF is able to coach this team up and make adjustments. Look at their last 5 games. They have outscored their opponents 117-60 in the third quarter. He and his staff are working some magic at halftime. They will likely have an off night where one of the teams in the conference get lucky and beat them, but this is a team that looks like it will head into the NCAA tournament no worse than 28-6. If they can run the table in conference play, they could end up being 30-4. I have to imagine that would be enough to finally get the seeding they deserve in the NCAA tournament and potentially host the first weekend of play. Barring any significant injuries to the core players, it's Sweet 16 or bust this year.

Basketball is basketball, right? Its funny cause I was thinking the same a few days ago. Not that he would be the coach of both teams, but that he would be promoted to men's basketball coach, while we would look for a worthy replacement for the women's team. An example where this was done. The Canadian national men's team in soccer qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1986 this year. Their coach Joh Herdman began his international career coaching women's national teams ( New Zealand and Canada). He made the move up, and had great success at every level. Not arguing this has to be done since why mess with the only program that's having great success right now. The team was so careless in the second period it was disturbing and it is going to result in CJF losing trust in the bench. You cannot have 3 of your 5 starters playing 35 to 40 minutes every night, it just isn't sustainable for the entire season and increases the chances that one of them goes down with an injury. Priscilla Williams' failure to develop into a consistent contributor is disappointing. For those that don't know, she was a McDonald's All-American out of high school and ranked the 9th highest recruit in the country. She was a solid contributor (8.7 pts. 3.4 reb.) as a freshman, regularly starting on a team that made the NCAA tournament. The Syracuse coach was apparently abusive and was fired. All but two players initially left the program, but Priscilla decided to stay. I think she realized it was going to be a lost season, so she opted to redshirt the 2021-2022 season and then transferred to USF. If she was simply playing at the level she was displaying as a freshman, this team could go to even greater heights. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that will happen this season.
