You watched it. You tell me. It sure looked like progress to me. Anytime we score 77 points, I’d say that’s progress. We averaged 57.5 ppg last season. And Hofstra didn’t look like a dog opponent to me. They looked as good as most of the teams we’ll play in the AAC.

I think we need to go at least .500 in the American. We only get Houston once this season.

for me .500 on the season would do it. Anything less and I think he needs to go. Its been 5 years already?

As to how many wins when it comes down to Kelly that's my biggest worry, since I think 5 wins in conference would do it. 

In a way I am thankful that Scott didn't win 3 games this year since in that case I think Kelly would have kept Scott for another year. I am  glad we have a new coach coming in.

The first 5 conference games will tell us if we have made progress. Win 2 or more and we will have made some progress. The only game we won't win is the houston game but the other ones are winnable.

I say win around 15 games this season will be a big step forward fig the program. Next season shoot for 20 wins. Get to the point where USF hoops is getting 20 wins or more and attendance around 8k or more each season

I like your thinking, but with our conference and OOC schedule, consistently drawing 4,000 to 5,000 would be HUGE for this program.

I actually think Coach Brian Gregory does a good job and want to see him succeed. 

Also liked Stan Heath and thought he did great things here at USF!
