This feels eerily similar to last time.  He's a family man, he's a great guy, he's coming from a great program, he has something to prove, he cares about the kids, he's a hard worker.  Only time will tell....

Not at all, but at the end of the day, none of those things guarantee wins either... I just meant, we've heard it all before and it didn't end well the first time...

They are two different guys. CJS had A LOT of advantages in life and was able to ride his father's coattails to bigger heights. Not that Scott didn't do a good job (before USF) or deserve it, but Golesh came to the US from Russia at that age of 7 and, by all accounts, has had to put in the time and grind. I think we will see the impact that plays in Golesh's approach to coaching.

We did go and, besides from the different name at the beginning of the proceedings, it could have been the same introduction and fCJS.  Seems less comfortable at the mic than fCJS.  Maybe that's a good thing.  Met his wife and kids afterwards. They won't complete the move until the school year ends so we'll have coach's full attention at least until then.

Edit: Following the ceremony ran into Coach DePrato. He thanked us for coming and he hopes to stay on staff.  We have a soft spot for him since we chatted for quite some time when he showed up with CJS and his new staff.

Does this community ever do get-togethers for the Spring game or anything?  I think that would be a great time to get vocal and show CAG we're with him in this turnaround.

We have, not so much as a group as far as I remember.
