As a man, I like him. He seems to be genuine... and he seems to understand where we are as a team/program/fanbase.

As a coach, he definitely has potential... it's just my fandom has been burned by potential too many times.

Herman’s a garbage individual, you didn’t want him around this program.

I liked that much better than anointing one's son the starting QB from day 1.  Won me over at Special Ed Teacher trained.  That's a special kind of person there

Time to get to work. Since Brown and Bohannon are coming back.  I wonder who will run this  uptempo offense with rpos and deep balls better ? Feeling better with brown, Bohannon,  marsh, and Gunnar Smith as the  4 qbs then in the past. This guy seems to be able to coach offense , if we can get get to a mediocre defense we could really win some games.

Marsh probably won't be back (I hope that he is healthy).  Not sure about Smith.    I feel like BB is the better choice than GB but we shall see.   This guy is going to bring some transfers in as well.  Looking forward to the DC hire

Can’t be worse than Scott.

I’m hopeful.

Coaches with HC experience don’t always pan out either. Taggart nearly failed until by some miracle he opened up to change.

Charlie Strong failed, Skip Holtz failed,

At other levels, Scott Frost, Kevin Sumlin, Willie Taggart, Tom Herman, all had success at one stop but failed at the next despite their head coaching experience.

Coaching is a profession full of highs and lows, coaching hires are unpredictable.

We just have to hope a stop at USF is a successful one for whoever we hire.

I agree with you. We are going to use the wait & see approach. Go Bulls!

I don't get why they keep posting all these quotes from other coaches hyping him up. His record will him deicide what kind of coach he is. Being a great coordinator does not mean you are going to be a great  head coach.

You think Marsh is done with football all together?

Maybe they really like him and are worried that he is walking into a hostile fanbase.  That was (fan-wise) a traumatic week and it was followed nationwide.
