I'd like to revise my comment, I am sceptical but not down. Positives

Really turned around Tennessee offense, it is number 1 in the country

And yes he calls the plays

Recruited FL under Matt Campbell at ISU

Knows NIL space as obviously Tennessee is a big player there

He DOES have Florida experience albeit only 1 year but it was meaningful

I'm fine with it. Im emotionally done talking about my own personal hot board. Welcome Coach.

Are we really going to pretend that this guy "turned around" the Tennessee offense and it's not due to Heupel?
Recruited Florida for Iowa State? I can only imagine the wonderful relationships he has from that time.
NIL at USF gotta be super similar to Tennessee's. Great point!
He has Florida experience as what? a Tight Ends coach for UCF?

Anyone fine with this hire probably wants to see Michael Kelly get an extension after this disaster too.

I think I might like it. Guy was born in Russia so he has to have balls unlike our last coach.

Took Hooker from being a 4th string QB at VaTech to a Heisman contender and 2nd highest QBR in college.

Probably not my first choice but much better than some of the names floated out there

I think we will see a shift from overpaid coaches to players being paid more. Glad(hope) we didn't overspend.

All he can do is prove himself to the fans is win. It isn't a splash hire, his credentials are questionable because VOLS forums say he doesn't call plays/some say he does, he is young and inexperienced,  he has no previous head coaching experience at the FCS/FBS Level, can he recruit, can he recruit defense, and can he hire competent coordinators? Lets hope this is the young coach that is willing to put in the extra effort to turn this around and sell USF . GO GO GOLESH!

Not again. He doesn’t even call plays? This is the same hire as Jeff Scott. We are doomed

not according to his bio on TENN website. Says he calls plays there and his last year at UCF.

In the last two years combined as a playcaller, including his year at UCF, Golesh’s offense is averaging a nation-best 3.06 plays per minute and 1.53 points per minute, which is third in the FBS during that span. Both of his years as an offensive coordinator have seen Golesh’s offenses finish in the FBS top 10 in scoring offense and total offense.
