No not at all, it's on the 'constant'. If a coach is a head coach for 10 years, and they only strong success is with a single QB over 3 years, then the only constant of success is the player and the constant of failure is on the coach. If instead over 10 years, the coach (like for example CJL) consistently wins 8ish games with all different players, then the constant is the coach. You seem to forget that CWT was expected to be fired any minute before he turned QF loose...

Make no mistake the only reason we have not mentioned who the coach is because they are coaching this weekend and are a head coach.

No to Diaz for me. Really didn't cut it at University of Miami going 21-15 in a fairly weak ACC, especially with all the Florida talent that was available to him. If not Deion then at least Chadwell

Taggart also recruited two other current NFL Qbs to USF.

He was 6-1 and had a top 10 offense at Oregon with Herbert and he recruited the current starting QB at FSU who is ranked #6 in QBR.

Willie rebuilt 2 programs, had a one year turnaround at a P5 of 4-8 to 7-5. He and CJL’s circumstances are completely different ……………….. and he wasn’t about to get fired here, sheesh.
