It was such a fun time and they had a blast. The average age was roughly 80-85 but there’s no reason local high schools and club teams aren’t taking trips to see top tier collegiate basketball. Start them young. Thank you @Gat-Rat Bull for the tix.

You like it more than football just because you're tired of continually yelling: "Hey you kids! Get off of my lawn!"

USF women’s basketball team has history in its sights Head coach Jose Fernandez thinks his squad is capable of reaching heights the program has never attained before. Nice thing about Sammie is that she is tall enough to get her shot up over defenders. Another bright spot is Aeriel at the point. She got limited time last year behind Pinzan and I was afraid that we'd have a hard time replacing Pinzan this year. Aeriel has, so far, had a nice assist to turnover ratio. Seems reluctant to shoot but we should have enough scorers on the floor. And #55, Carla I think, is listed as 5'11" but is playing bigger as far as rebounding. Tough, hard working kid so far. She's made a few shots. Only weakness may be at the FT line. Lots to like so far. 1

Time will tell where this team ultimately ends up in the Pantheon of USF WBB, but I was lauding it in the preseason and you were trying to temper my expectations. CJF is a MFing wizard and I trust in him until the bitter end. This team is going to find its way to 24+ wins and I am excited to go along for the ride! I think one year (2018/2019) we actually had an average of close to 3500 per home game, and more when the visiting teams were ranked. Would love for us to have more of an atmosphere like Uconn or frankly any other team ranked in the top 25 had for their home games. Maybe this is the year we do that!
