I said win 2-3 games.  I think if he wins 3 MK will keep him, unfortunately.  Although he should be gone, MK made too much of a commitment to him in his mind to fire him.  Just my opinion.  If Jeff Scott goes 0-8 or 1-7 in conf, then MK will have no choice.

I think that's a fair assessment

I went with 4-5.  2-3 would be depressing.

Unfortunately  we don't play temple multiple times. The defense and non existing passing offense scare me. Maybe he is hiding the playbook  against Louisville like everything said against BYU. We have to improve  drastically in the passing game and defense  to realistically win any more games.

4 or 5 games...for me...pretty low bar for year 3.

Will he be gone if doesn't reach 4+ is another question. I think less than 3 wins won Is a hard sell and he be forced to fire him.

I said nothing, I honestly don’t see MK doing anything this year regardless. 2026 is the year for the new OCS, if he keeps CJS for 2023 and then dismisses him, the new coach will have 2 years of recruiting and developing for the grand opening. I don’t think MK is in a rush for this year.

If Scott doubles his wins from last year, looks competitive the rest of the way...that's probably enough to try peddling to the fans as progress.

But who knows, MK *might* try to keep him with just 3 wins if the remaining losses are really close and he can say "coulda shoulda woulda beat UF".

Ugh the games need to get here, I can't stand thinking about how bad it could end up.  Let's see what really happens.

It is already that bad, it doesn't get much worse.
