Do you think Chad Morris can do worse than 1-22 against FBS teams and one conference win in two seasons?

Morris should improvement in year 1 , year 2, and went bowling in year 3 when he took over SMU.

His offenses sure looked better than anything CJS has shown here. This is what progress should look like.

He probably be a upgrade he has HC experience turning SMU around atleast. His offense at SMU put up points and SMU appears to have been left in good shape when he left.

Why I'd like to see him get a chance this season if Scott blows it which I feel Is very likely to happen given what we have seen so far this season.

CJS has the program in worse shape than what he inherited.

What good would firing the coach?

Answer: not having Jeff Scott as head coach anymore.
That’d be great.

Realistically it would be almost impossible to do worse than 1-21 against FBS.

Can you give me an example of any coach that went 1-21 or 0-22 against fbs teams and kept his job other than Jeff Scott?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
