Perhaps we solve the RJ color scheme problem by changing the school colors to  match.  Cheaper than a $300 million stadium and red would be more fitting with bulls. Added plus, the band dresses in red garb and the live bull gets set loose on the field at the end of the halftime performance and we get a Pamplona-esque show.

Option1) We could start winning ang beating top 25 opponents regularly to put more green and gold in the stands. Option 2) We could starting scoring at at high rate under this offensive minded coach and make the product exciting. The offense is literally the same thing plan since CCS run up the middle and try to pass on 3rd down. The only difference is we are worse at passing the ball under CJs and scoring.

I'd like our next coach (whenever that is) to be defense minded and know how to coach/recruit in the AAC. this guy did pretty good as DC at Tulsa before he went to TCU. Luke Fickell turned out well at Cinncinati. We need to find our Luke Fickell in the next coach search cycle.

Joe Gillespie arrived at TCU in December 2021 as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Gillespie

True, that's why we need to focus on winning to get more butts in the seats.  60,000 in Ray Jay would be most impressive.  Then you wouldn't even hardly notice the red seats because everyone would be on their feet cheering on their USF Bulls which in turn blocks the seats and therefore the color red could not be seen.  And because by then the lower two sections will be sold out to season ticket holders leaving only the 3rd level (which is rarely shown on TV) for visiting fans.  And yes, things WILL be fine in the long run but do most of us have THAT much time?

The good news is that USF will be playing at RJS until the 2026. Even after that I’m sure the big draw schools like Bama will work out a deal with USF to play the game at RJS instead of the OCS.

Strictly hypothetical, because I want to see more of this season play out before siding one way or another on CJS, but what about Ed Orgeron?

You guys are on something if you think Deion would even consider picking up the phone for USF. He is either FSU or $EC bound.

Someone said it earlier, but App State or the guy from Coastal make sense. We need someone that is okay with punching up and is not used to having all the bells and whistles.

This is probably true now.

Current head coaches to (hypothetically) consider once we (hypothetically) fire CJS:

  • Shawn Clark
  • Jeff Traylor
  • Tyson Helton
