GAME DAY vs. Florida
Coming off its first victory of 2022 and a strong rushing display of 205 yards and six touchdowns on the ground, USF
heads to Gainesville for just the second time and first in 12 years as the Bulls seek their first victory over a ranked
foe since 2016 and first in a road game since 2011. It is the second game of a three-game series. USF returns to
Gainesville in 2025. The campuses are seperated by 118 miles and approximately two hours on I-75. They are also
separated by 589 wins, 37 bowl games and 91 years of playing football, with Florida starting in 1906, in their 110th
season, logging 750 wins and 47 bowl games to USF’s 1997 start, 26th season, 161 wins and 10 bowl games. USF is
however the fastest program in the state of Florida to reach 150 wins.
DOWNING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS: USF’s victory against BYU in 2019 in Tampa marked the program’s most
recent and 12th overall triumph against a program that has won an NCAA-recognized FBS national championship. The
others: Army, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Miami, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and
TCU. Florida has claimed three national titles: 1996, 2006, 2008. The Gators’ defensive coordinator for the last two was
Charlie Strong, who led the USF program for three years from 2017-19 and currently is coaching at Miami.
LARGE CROWD: With a capacity of 88,548, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium may hold the third-largest crowd USF has ever
played in front of on Saturday night. The Bulls played in front of 90,612 in their last trip to Gainesville (2010) and the
record for a USF game is 99,235 in attendance for a 2005 game at Penn State.

I know I've been in a pissy mood lately and I'm getting close to apologizing. But, before I do. There are lots of Bulls on an opponents campus 2 hours away and that shows we need an OCS?

If Scott is able to keep the team from full blown revolt over the next two games it will be his best accomplishment thus far.

Listening to VPMK in the pregame show

Man I wish he would show more passion for us to win. Just high level platitudes about getting better and historical upsets. Will keep this group posted if anything else comes up pregame. I guess just expecting to hear conference sched for bball this week.
