Playoffs Expansion Approved

Looks like the proposed 6 top champions + next 6 was approved unanimously. Could start as soon as next year

If it's top 6 conference champs + the next best 6 at large ... that tells me that they have to see the scenario where all of the P5 conferences survive. One dies and you're looking at 4 power conference champs and then 2 G5s (more likely than not AAC and MW most years). No chance they let more of the plebs in if they can avoid it.

It would be interesting.  The new format actually spilled over to where I stopped watching other bowl games as well as the so-called playoffs.

Good point. But remember, even though they take 6 conference champs, only the top 4 get a first round bye. So they could still have a way separate the unwashed masses if one P5 gets canabilized.

That's fine because I still get to watch those and then cancel the streaming before the final games like usual.
