Sounds like his break may have been covid related as he was completely remote and then still had to step away for personal reasons. Doesn't seem like it was performance related at least.

The only real "fact" you've come back with about CJS is one FBS win, which is pretty bullet proof. If you're smart, you'll just stick with that one .....

He should have a fbs win and an upset by week 4 but the culture didn't change. If he can have two fbs wins after game 5 then maybe we are cooking with fire and improving.

Its the 10/1 home game against ECU that will be very telling.  Everyone and their uncles is expecting this team to start out 1-3.  But if they do start out 1-3 and then drop the home game/conference opener on 10/1, that won't be good at all.  ECU at home is a very winnable game. I think that the game on 10/1 will really tell us alot about where the program is.

He definitely had zero positives on the field to praise him for. All the praise of this culture change is rubbish until he proves he changed it to a winner. Right now his culture is defined at worse coach in usf history.  I hope he turns it around with the transfers and new coordinators on both sides of the ball.
