Let’s face it - the spring game is a gloried scrimmage 

If CJS is afraid of giving away some sort of secret sauce (doubtfull), then he should just close the game to fans and move on

Absurdly stupid.  I often can't make it to spring games and sadly this is true again this year, even though I would love to go.  So eff me I guess.

Wouldn't want our team to get publicity or fan engagement right now would we?

'Hiding our game plans and schemes from opponents' are you serious??  Reeks of someone in over their head doing something dumb that *they* think is really smart...like when Greg Schiano had the Bucs rush victory formations.  But at least Schiano actually let people record his preseason games.

This is more like 'tell me you suck at in game adjustments without telling me you suck at in game adjustments'.

Look I’m in North Georgia and have season tickets, so no I’m not driving down, pay for hotel to see a Spring game. I would watch it if stream because I’m interested in seeing our guys and see if they have improved. If they don’t want to stream it that’s their call eventhough I don’t agree with the decision, but please stop with these stupid excuses. We know in Spring Ball you aren’t running special plays. If you really believe that we are going to be running special plays that we don’t want BYU to see, or that we have some fantastic player that BYU wouldn’t be able to adjust to after watching him in the game, then it really doesn’t speak well at your in game adjustments.

If it is open to the public... BYU could literally, and with no effort have anyone even marginally, film the game from the stands and the whole cloak and dagger shenanigans are blown out of the water. It would take about $25 and a couple of hot dogs from the concession to get someone to do it. This is just a "blackout" to get people to RJS. Call it what it is.

And I'm fine with that. My personal preference is for streaming, but I understand why it isn't being streamed. I just don't like the lame excuse.
