I'm surprised we topped out at 40 members. In the early 2010s, it was a very active group. For me to think they were larger, they must've had most of their members at all games

How do we have so many students but only 3 in SBC? There's plenty of students whose faces I recognize because they're at every event. You'd think it would be a no brainer for them to join SBC

The drama played out on twitter among a few.

But it reminds me...when I was on campus, the USF Communist Youth Brigade had enough members to march, at least 35.  I bet it's up to 3500.  We should check there.

I just love how every conversation about how every aspect of athletics is failing by any and every measurable has to be prefaced with that athletics is doing a great job and that just everything that they touch just accidentally turns to **** through no fault of their own. Does Athletics actually control any of that SBC?  Isn't that just a university funded student driven thing?  I see nothing on Athletics website at all about it.

There have been countless repetitive topics/posts on TBP over the years about the student section. Why the low attendance? Why the lack of interest by new alumni, why the lack of participation with USF after graduation?  Seems we are always wondering WHY?? people are not interested in supporting the university, athletics. Maybe this article provides some insight into just how bad it is. Remember old WT trying to get the students riled up and interested. It did have some effect. Our age old question that seems to evade an explanation. What is so different about USF??    Maybe today there will be a nice crowd and some students having some fun???
