Could just be that he's coming with his neighbor and having a couple of drinks in the Hardwood Club before the game and at halftime.  I'm not down there so just guessing. I know he lives next door to Fred & Kaye.

JG is possibly in taking a hiatus from the bs in his world. Imagine he enjoys most sports. Better to be out and about holding your head up than hiding out in seclusion. He may just be waiting on his potential big payday. The money folks are the ones who can tell cancel culture to screw off. Hope he does just fine. Possibly he will take pity on USF and provide a boost $$ towards a stadium.

Wouldn't you (not you specifically) think that he'd be sitting with the VPofA up in his little loge box if he were being courted? Or at least speaking with MK at some point?

I could be wrong, but I thought @bulloni was talking about the $311 million dollar number being referenced not Gruden. Torello said that and not 300, 310, 315 etc..

He might be kryptonite right now prob better for MK and FB staff to maintain a buffer until the dust settles. When he was canned from the Bucs he hung out in the area, went and helped out at a high school I think it was?? USF would prob be gun shy of the potential badddddd press if he got to close to the football field. Now, our ballsy trustee?? Cocktail time.....

Spending more wouldn't necessarily equate it to being the "best"

I believe Colorado State spent much less than $310 million and I like the look of their stadium better than SDSU's.

Construction costs are high, but this is still Florida, not California. You might as well take whatever SDSU spent and take at least 15-20% off. That would put us around $250 to $270 million. 

Perhaps Michael Kelly is deciding to say "screw it" and go all out. If the dust settles and you get a big gift of some kind from JG it would be amazing, but he would probably not be the lead donor on an OCS-you need $50 to $100 million for something like that. Per online google searches he's worth around $30 million. 

Now if he sues and gets his $60 million in contract money from the Raiders...he might want the tax write-off and to give a giant finger to the Glazers (who have stabbed USF in the back by donating to Tulane). That would at least get the football-only facility done.
