Sadly Judy and her cronies didn't think losing to them was a bad thing and neglected athletics while the knights invested im athletics and priotized winning. We got AAU status and they got a power conference. Thanks Judy. I hate to say it but I would rather be in a power athletic conference playing better teams than being an AAU university. My boss didn't give me a raise nor does he care. I have not had one person say man you went to an AAU university .

Why do you feel it weakened the ACC?  Other than distance, Standford and Cal are good additions IMO.  SMU is what it is.
