I suppose it matters how many teams the AAC wants to go to. The Athletic is reporting that CSU and Air Force appear to be the most interested. With Aresco saying a decision will come in the next few weeks, it seems pretty apparent to me that they have tentative agreements in place. My guess would be:

10 Teams: CSU and Air Force
12 Team: UAB and UTSA
14 Teams: FAU and North Texas 

All of this is very depressing. USF has about 3 years to get its act together and become a more attractive candidate to the Big 12 than Memphis.

But is it though?  Why is it depressing?  What is depressing is we have never won a FB championship in any conference.  Let's start there before worrying about what conference we are in and who we are playing.  I could give a **** less what conference we are in if we aren't competitive.  Start winning and winning championships and the rest will work itself out.  If we can't win a championship, then all 2198 pages of this thread are pointless.
