(1) Appears to rely on actual instead of announced for USF, but announced for everyone else (although I haven't confirmed this)

(2) How does he know whether USF hopes have been damaged due to one game's attendance?

I was at the UCF game last year, there's no way they average 30,065 people that season. The average Friday night game at my high school had more people in attendance than that game.

This article is flat out wrong.  There isn't anyone that the Big 12 can get that today is the equal of Texas and TCU.  On the other hand, USF is already the equal of TCU.  So, article wrong.

It is our announced ..... but all these douchebags, including some of our fans apparently, are oblivious to the fact that we exceeded that by 10K for our first game, against an FCS team.
