And K-State is listed ahead of Texas for the Big XII, despite a loss.  I don't think the standings sort until they get into conference play.  They'll just stay as they were before conference play based on whatever the algorithm was.

Yeah.  They already have Houston due to all their Texas teams.  Houston adds a program with upside that just knocked off one of their power teams, but it doesn't add much in market or academics.

That was pretty objective.

I agree, and it was interesting to read the other team assessments. I might argue that they place too much weight on location, but they were very fair in talking about all of our advantages I thought.

I did like the article. I wonder about location though. Why did they take WVU if they were worried about location? It seems to me that they either want Florida or not.
