So, if the Big12 were contracted to get X for each new team, offer to take 75% of X, and offer the new teams 50% of X for a certain time frame.

1.  There are already provisions in the contract which state how much money will be added for each new team.

2.  Why on earth would you purposely negotiate a reduction?  Do you go to the car dealer and ask them if they will accept a dollar amount above sticker?

I don't know but I imagine you could request it from Hillsborough County or TSA as a taxpayer.  Here's TBT's blog about the Bucs/Redskins game so it's all available.

That's kind of the point I'm making. That actual attendance wasn't published, and I'm using published as the TSA putting it out there unsolicited. If my memory serves me correctly, one of the media types that posted on here that it was the same way for Bulls actual attendance at one point .... but they got so many requests from the nit picking media that they actually preemptively send it out now to avoid the gossip columnists' requests.
