Arco Iris was always solid, but its been a few years since I dropped by there so I can't confirm their current state.

I'm very curious on that front. I personally don't see a scenario where we're included without UCF unless WVU goes to bat for us.

If BYU doesn't get in, I think our odds go up, with or without UCF.  Hopefully without but whatever it takes to get in.

This is a fluid process.  Memphis got a lot of mentions in the press early on, but I've seen far fewer of late and more/more prominent mentions of USF.  Not that that means anything...

We have an idea of what the Big 12 is looking for, from their own words (shocking how we can do that!).  

Their machinations and weights for each criteria, though, are a mystery to everyone.  Therefore, we're left with a billion zillion opinions from the media, who are saying anything they need to these days to get clicks on their website, to the point where everything is contradictory. 

No one really has any idea how this is going to shake out, and it's basically like someone on here said, paraphrasing from one of my favorite movies, Zoolander:  "It's that **** Houston - they're so hot right now!"  The hot candidate is determined by the media - not the Big 12.

We may not get in, but it's certainly not going to be because we don't fit most of what they're looking for.
