Nevada is better than UNLV

Probably but UNLV fits the AAC model of large markets. And they play in a new NFL stadium. Plus they have some name recognition.

Hard to know exactly what qualities the AAC would be targeting in any possible expansion. There are a few others from the MWC who, depending on criteria, could make a solid case to be added. Fresno St, Utah St, San Jose St, Colorado St, & New Mexico. Some are bigger stretches than others.

Ideally, we'd add SDSU but they are too far out on an island by themselves.

Take Boise, SJSU or Fresno, SDSU, and Colorado st. Or you could leave out the Cali schools and take Boise, New Mexico or Utah St., UNLV, and Colorado st. Either way the western part of our conference would look drastically different. I think if you want Boise to work out Colorado st might be one of the best options.

Yeah my only problem with Vegas is that they are a terrible football program with little chance of being anything but average. I would think the conference needs more quality than anything else.

My preference; Only in fb & only if BYU and either AF or UNLV comes too. And fill the Olympic sports void with a school in a large market. La Salle, Belmont, George Washington, Loyola, ect. Somebody who is well rounded.

I would love to have Boise, BYU, and AF added.

The rest of the conference is wondering when we're going to start bringing UNLV football type value to the AAC.

Wichita is basketball and Boise is football. Works out

Navy is FB only, so the league would need an all sports member to replace what was lost.
