It really isn't/wasn't today.  We have enough talent to be a middling aac team.

Why would fans be expected to keep showing up

Because Athletics says so. We should give money and support no matter what. This isn’t for entertainment and joy, this is for the students. We have to show up for the students. Also, some say we were spoiled. This is what we deserve.

Scott should be out of excuses. Covid has nothing to do with:

poor clock management

poor in game decisions

terrible fundamentals

no depth

defense is a joke

Offense has no imagination

this is getting so ****  old.  Why would fans be expected to keep showing up

there were coaching mistakes for sure

but the lack of talent  is a big part of the problem

the lack of tackling stands out

the dbs paly way too soft

guy you need to strap in this will take 2 maybe 3 years

This all comes down to the horrendous 3rd/4th and 1 playcalling on our last drive. That, and dropped passes in critical moments.

I feel confident in our QB for the next four years (assuming this program doesn't find a way to drive him away). The polish, improvisation, and accuracy displayed today is very encouraging for a Freshman. Not a perfect game, but I spotted several critical dropped passes that were thrown on point.

I don't have a problem with Timmay and for much of the game the offense.   I get being a little conservative at times because of Timmay.   But overall there are some very questionable decisions and the defense is just flat out bad

Yeah not today vs Tulsa, but in a bigger picture it is.

This is the third of fourth game that I can think of in the last two years that South Florida lost because of in game coaching decisions.

When the defense brought pressure there usually was a positive result

those two play calls on third and fourth down you might’ve thought that South Florida has a dominating offensive  line is just mine boggling your

1-4. Get aggressive give your team some confidence and some momentum. I like Jeff Scott not sure he’s capable of turning it around

Only when that picture includes P5 teams and maybe top few of teams in our conference.   I'm not saying we are loaded, but we have enough talent to win 3-4 games in this conference this year ... but we won't

I guess that is where we disagree. I expect to compete at a national level not at a confernece level.

Maybe that is wishful thinking, but I don't think its unreasonable.
