We have the players to win on the offensive side of the ball, but the defense is just a nightmare. The coaching staff continues to make mistakes like deferring to the second half when winning the coin toss. Give the defense the chance to play with a lead and not be on their heels the entire game. Give Timmy and the offense a chance to set the tone and put together a drive to start the game rather than being down 7-0 early. It is clear that we are at the point of our schedule where we should be able to find some wins.

Yes this would be nice.  We have to come out not completely flatline all the time.

Beating Tulsa is a realistic expectation in my opinion.  Not a guarantee, but definitely a realistic expectation.   With 2 weeks to prepare for this game at home, winning this game better be a realistic expectation for this coaching staff, too.

They have to be feeling it this week. I suspect practice is very upbeat with positive thoughts. They knew the record is what they expected. Now it’s time to win.
