Expectations.

As we saw late Saturday evening, down in College Station, Texas - yes ANY team is beatable. I just don't see USF beating Houston, Cinci or UCF.    Any other game is a roll of the dice...

I don't see us beating anyone until we actually do but the only team that I think compares to the ones we've already lost to is Cincy. We'll know more after Saturday ....

So let’s revisit this original post. Tulsa is NOT one of the better teams in our conference. Is it realistic to expect a win over them , when USF has had two weeks to prepare for the game ?

If there really is progress and improvement with this program, we will see it next Saturday.

Agreed. Two weeks of focus. Time to show something.

If we lose to Tulsa with a bye in between, shut down the program.

ECU almost (and should have) beat UCF... so if USF can beat the Pirates, they can beat the Knights.  (I put both on the "less likely" side of the coin, tho).

I think some over value the progress they think they see when you are losing but if you trust the science losing only helps you continue to lose

If only sports were science.

We've added no defensive players via the draft, lottery, trade or recruiting in the past 8 days. We may not win another game this year and, yet, I don't think they'll shutter the program.

I think we can play with either team...but if UCF has Gabriel back it's a loss.

Beating Tulsa is a realistic expectation in my opinion.  Not a guarantee, but definitely a realistic expectation.   With 2 weeks to prepare for this game at home, winning this game better be a realistic expectation for this coaching staff, too.
