On TDS podcast previewing the BYU game they mentioned Battie was battling a toe issue over the summer/fall. That might have been why he didn't see as much action weeks 1 and 2

Would appear that weather shouldn't be a factor. Supposed to be 52o w/ 30% humidity. Nice. Altitude and cross country trip probably have more effect on us. They were smart to go out a day early maybe get acclimated somewhat.

Altitude will have some effect but nice cool weather and no humidity could offset that some for our players.  Way better than playing in mid 90s and high humidity conditions.

It’s going to be 60 degrees at KO…hope they bring their thick winter coats

Allegedly, a toe injury or issue. Battie is feeling better, and so we're seeing the results. Apparently, the staff wasn't seeing this during the Spring.
