On-campus stadium

Awful football team.

No one in the seats.

You forgot that they also made $33.6 million last year for being in the conference. They could not care less about attendance today.

True...

The point was the location of the stadium has no bearing on attendance.

That is incorrect.  Just because an empty stadium can happen on campus, doesn't mean it has no bearing on attendance.

But it doesn't assure it either.

Using no data, I would argue that it is easier to get students into a stadium on campus than it is off campus.

When was that pic taken? Certainly wasn’t during the game.

I'd like to see the data on more students going to games when they were played there v. downtown.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
