He promised him a shot at qb I am sure, I don’t think that’s evidence that he was changing his entire offense philosophy at that very moment because plenty of people make that promise have it fail and then use that player at the position every other person planned on using them at when they were recruiting them.

great coaches design an offense around their players strengths. exactly what Taggart did.

Here is a blurb about Jeff Bezos thinking . Successful people adapt.

He said people who were right a lot of the time were people who often changed their minds. He doesn’t think consistency of thought is a particularly positive trait. It’s perfectly healthy — encouraged, even — to have an idea tomorrow that contradicted your idea today.

He’s observed that the smartest people are constantly revising their understanding, reconsidering a problem they thought they’d already solved. They’re open to new points of view, new information, new ideas, contradictions, and challenges to their own way of thinking.

BTW I hope Scott does the same thing. If McClain is his guy then he needs to design the offense and call plays around his strengths.

If so he definitely missed his calling in life, we should have hired him as coach

You've never provided an explanation as to why he would recruit Q for a Harbaugh offense

Q was an athlete.

Hopefully we begin to attract more talented players that allow us to do different things.
