I've invested enough time today and pretty much already showed how wrong you are about being a "results" guy. I’m not judging Amazon and have no investment or invested interest in them. They measure their results differently than you do and I don’t care one way or another if they ever profit or go out of business for all I care. I do care about USF football and I like almost any other fan measure the results poorly in wins and losses. That you say you haven’t made it past halftime tells me that you measure it that way too. Amazon stock price: 1/21/99 - $53 1/2/04 - $51.90 Next idea?

Their IPO was $18 2 years before you started your clock that a tremendous return and they had a huge runway. But once again I don’t care about valuing Amazon I care about USF Football and wins and the current ROI is zero. 3 minutes ago, Triple B said: Bite your ******* tongue .... For your average consumer their life is made better by Amazon, but that improvement comes at a cost to someone and it’s not Amazon. They fully dictate online retail, a luxury they are afforded because they focused on customer acquisition which always is a net negative on profits during the acquisition but are justified by lifetime spending of the customer. Interestingly AWS is one of their most profitable ventures and allows them to still profit off of people trying to brave it on their own and allows them to still be able to make your life miserable even if you aren’t suffering through arbitrary shutdowns of your listings, guaranteed sale on things they buy from you, holding of invoices indefinitely and send another one to the customer because it doesn’t cost us anything and retains our customer policies. 27 minutes ago, pascobull said: wow...he caught that on the 20 and made it in. that's all time bad against any team. Sometimes when I feel bad about what happened to our program I talk to my FSU friends and then it doesn’t feel so bad.
