I can see how you would feel that way but I’m really just results driven and I can’t wait for a time when someone will have better results. Beating 1 FBS team in your career isn’t going to be measured as success anywhere. His time here has had not one positive moment and is just one absurd excuse after another about how he is actually great despite any and all evidence.

We make one product football wins, if you don’t make a single one of your only product for 2 years every business would be out of business

So a company loses 720 million, 1.4 billion, 567 million, 149 million and 35 million over its first 5 years.  You would have shuttered Amazon.

You really don't make sense sometimes. I know you think you are the smartest (or most annoying) guy in the room but sometimes you have to have patience.  For every company that lost money their first 5 years and didn't make it, there are a fraction that do. Let's hope we are one of that fraction instead of shuttering the program and never finding out.

No we lose money consistently every year but our business is football wins, if Amazon didn’t manage to get out a single item, stream a single show or host a single server they wouldn’t be around to lose that much money. No one expects CJS to figure out how to make USF athletics profitable it’s not too much to expect him to occasionally do the one thing he is paid to do. If we were talking about undefeated that would be unreasonable to expect immediately, if we were talking about winning as many games got CCS fired that would be perfectly reasonable but we aren’t even talking about that we are talking about managing to win a single FBS game and that shouldn’t take you years to accomplish. The Jacksonville State coach has more FBS wins this season than CJS has in his career, that’s not good or a path to success no matter how you slice it.

It also isn't 5 years in to this effort. We put out a product. You aren't happy with it but there is a product being put out for people to see.

Wins. That’s his job. There is no reason we couldn’t produce any in over a year and even if in year five they are produced that doesn’t excuse wasting this entire period.

And Amazon was supposed to produce profits. What's your point?

And Amazon's "business" is to make money and CR's example should have been enough to shut you up ........ but who are we kidding.

And now I'm really ticked at him because he made me spend 2 minutes researching Amazon's profit history. We retired types don't like to do work.

Amazon is supposed to raise its stock price and increase its value as a company that in our new strange world sometimes has nothing to do with a positive balance sheet

You're a crazy man. I've invested enough time today and pretty much already showed how wrong you are about being a "results" guy.

But they did make a ton of money on their stock and were cash rich, that gives you a huge ability to focus on market share with your giant runway and allows you to pivot to profit whenever you feel like it and have a loyal customer base and much less competition.
