These last couple of games have been impressive.   Not just some big hits from the Brutchers, Ruiz, and Hogans of the team, but also some manufacturing of some runs and against a pretty good pitching staff.

Caught five innings of the game... let me be the first to eat some early season crow. These guys are getting it done against a decent team. They look like a completly different team.

I'm not going to brag, because I really didn't think it was going to happen.  But didn't I say that winning 2 out of 3 would be huge for this team?  Now I'm greedy and I want the sweep, but even we lose tomorrow, its a great winning series for the Bulls.  Hopefully gives us momentum to keep it going.

I was hoping for 1 win, thrilled with 2 wins, but when you have the chance for the sweep hopefully they find a way.  The bats were the story but Logan Lyle really stepped up tonight.  He got them out of a mess in the 7th and pretty much cruised the rest of the game.  We actually should have scored more.  Guys on 2nd and 3rd with less than two out in both the 7th and 8th innings.  Poor Julio Cortez hitting into 3 double plays-one of which was a great diving play by the SS, couldn't catch a break.  4 hit day by Carmine Lane too.  Really impressive win.  Now's the time to get greedy and get tgat 3rd win of the series, this time at home.  Guessing Brad Lord will be getting the ball today.  Need 5 strong out of him and then let Burns and the rest of the pen take care of tge rest
