as usf alum/fans we have been involved in our descent. to the outside casual observer that likes football they prob do look at usf and wonder "what the hell happened to them". much of what the guy wrote rings true...sadly. it wasnt all damning. there was a flicker of possiblity. but it will be a tough climb back up to some national significance because we werent there very long

Well that makes sense, Romano had to step up down to the role of local loudmouth and blast the Bulls.  Why break tradition?

Romano just returned to sports in the last year IIRC

Negative and I’ll bet we don’t get one.

TBT sports has the newbie writer Mari Faiello who has written a few USF articles now that they hired her. New grad from UF. She writes a pretty detailed article..no bashing as yet so maybe she still hasn't had the shine worn off yet??

The actual reporters rarely, if ever, bashed USF. That hatchet job was left to the columnists ....

And here’s their columnist.  Like night and day in the coverage.

The UCF football season wasn't perfect, but the Knights accomplished a major feat by becoming the only team in the American Athletic Conference that didn't have a game...
