I like Publix subs but their rolls are VERY inconsistent.   It is a complete crapshoot whether you will get a fairly soft one, an edible one or one you could club a baby seal with.  My wife will only get wraps from them because of their bread issues.

He’s from Polk County ...... not much interest in that industry there back in his day.

I only ate them during tailgates, whenever I ate one inside my old lady would go ape **** on the mess that I would make.  Jersey Mikes kicks Publix’s ass when it comes to Subs anyways, don’t miss them one bit.
