Im pretty much done with McCloud guy shown very little improvement to date.

Johnson is quicker version it appears of McCloud.

Fortin has to be our guy this season he had solid offers well recruited and he has P5 experience.  Has a nice pass good velocity.  Runs pretty good also from footage online...he should be ready to go vs Cincy.

If none of these guys are the answer then just screw it and go with the freshman

Sounds a lot like Blake Barnett's resume except he was 5 star.

Yea similar situation...just shorter and not the 5 star recruit.

Nor should Noah. Go with the freshman or Fortin. If Fortin is not the answer then start building for the future.

What is the deal with Fortin?  Is he hurt, covid tracing, or just buried in the depth chart?

If available give him a freaking shot.  Like you said, we need to know what we have.

My guess would be covid. Quote from paper

“Whenever Cade is allowed to come back, he will be given an opportunity to play,” Scott said Tuesday.

Thanks. So at least we know he is mot buried in the depth chart and that he will get his shot and play this season.

He may be our last hope from a QB perspective to have a somewhat decent season.....i just want to see some hope and excitement.

yeah I'm looking forward to seeing what he has to offer. Unfortunately this program needs more than a band-aid fix. It all starts and ends with recruiting.

Let's be honest does it matter. It doesn't seem like any of them have an arm as a serious threat. All I saw against ND was options and draws. Felt like Gilbert was back..

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
