There is plenty of time for that being a Bulls fan so I don’t see a reason to invent it . Like when CCS started 7-0 people were literally mad that everyone wasn’t mad at being at 7-0 because we didn’t deserve it. I honestly don’t understand why someone can’t just enjoy the hope of a new season or the early wins because there is plenty of time to be angry later and what do you gain from embracing failure before it even arrives?

oh come on

who was mad that we were 7-0?

thank you coach strong

U pegged that one. Amazing to think that an experienced coach could assume a program that was winning and in 2 years totally take it into a nose dive. Lazy and disinterested seemed to be the coaching attitude w/ a dash of incompetent. I remember back at his hire a Texas fan came on here and wished us good luck. At the time I thought, that's cool. But then you realized it was like....good **** luck folks were glad he isn't here any longer. Whew! you opened the door with those 4 words. But...those are the old days. Water under the bridge. Can kicked down the road.  CJS is the new way I have faith.

I think it's fair to say that many, if not most, knew that 7-0 was a house of cards that was facing its inevitable crumbling. Personally, I was nervous and knew it was a sham. I don't recall being mad at that time per se. But it did lead to being mad toward Strong in the end. Still mad now.

Weve always had a problem hanging on to a winning streak. If not we would have a BE and a AAC chmp trophy in residence. So yeah you get a little gun shy when you see everything going along in the win mode, kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now being mad at 7-0 hmm?:yeahbaby: Maybe 0-7 would/should bring out our mad side. :bash:

Coach strong seemed like he didn't want to coach or motivate players. He just wanted to hangout and get paid generously.  His recruits have not lived up to expectations. This would be there year to tell.

He was lazy, incompetent and disinterested, he was the hat trick of loserville.  But he is gone and we have moved on.

I don't think "mad" is the right word. You've got some that were "uncomfortable" with the 7-0 and then you had some of the usual suspects who constantly look for the black lining in every silver cloud ...

Wasn't mad, was pretty darn happy......BUT could kind of see what was coming.  It always seemed like we were resilient in those wins, yet was kind of smoke and mirrors and we would become exposed when the better teams came a calling.
