I think this is a very, very real possibility. However I don’t think it’s a very good hire as much as I like an alumnus coming back to coach USF - not enough experience. Needs a mentor at minimum.  We allowed Willie to apprentice for multiple years.  I just don’t think we can afford to do that anymore.

A simple "jim leavitt" search on twitter shows a handful of fans claiming to be in the know claiming its happening. The mystery continues here into Sunday Night. Might have to stay up til 1 again reading tea leaves

The more important Twitter search will uncover the hundreds+ of Bulls fans that want to come back with Jim Leavitt and support the Bulls again.  It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the right step.  

As I stated the other day it would be a very savvy move, so .... that’s so not like USF.  

Hence there is hope, not confidence.

However, it will be “I told you so” x1000 if we hire not-xCJL. Just hire him and pray people start turning over couch cushions for extra money to give. Ex-players start handing out blank checks. Donors from the early 2000s come roaring back. Attendance goes through the roof.
